Training
Regina Boxing
Club offers training sessions for registered members 3 evening a
week, throughout the boxing season. A typical season runs from September
through May. Amateur boxing demands that an athlete work to achieve
and maintain a high level of physical fitness and dedication to
learning and implementing boxing skills. Training sessions are intended
to assist the athlete in achieving a level of physical fitness and
technical ability which results in an opportunity to box competitively.

Training Sessions

20 minutes involved in a variable jog/run, which also includes other
exercises during the activity. Group two is led by a coach and will
complete circuit training of 5 rounds, each lasting 3 minutes.

the basics of the sport. These include stance, punching technique,
